About the Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups arborio rice
1 onion diced (cone # 3)
1 head of garlic minced ( cone #1)
4 cups water and 2 bouillon cubes or 4 cups broth of choice
zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 package parmesan cheese grated. I use vegan Violife parmesan (shredded cone #1)
1 bunch asparagus cut in 1 inch pieces
1 cup of fresh basil sliced in ribbons
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Place rice, onion, garlic, water and bouillon cube lemon and zest in electric skillet. Place on rice 1
When done add the asparagus, cheese and basil . Unplug it cover for 5 min
Stir and serve
